BERRYVILLE - Thieves who allegedly broke into the Masonic Lodge, school and learning center to steal computers, swords, snack foods and daggers, have been arrested by police.
Taken into custody were 19-year-old Phillip Fiveash of Berryville, and two male juveniles, ages 17 and 15.
According to Detective Robert Bartos, with the Berryville Police Department, the arrests were the culmination of a “long, lengthy investigation.”
He said Fiveash and the two youth allegedly broke into the Masonic Lodge on Sept. 12 and stole swords, daggers, snack foods, sodas and money. He said the swords and daggers were recovered, but the snacks, sodas and money had already been consumed or spent.

Bartos said some of the school's computer system was recovered and most of the Learning Center's equipment.
The 17-year-old youth is additionally charged with a vehicle break-in that took place the same night as the Lodge theft.
Fiveash is also implicated in that vehicle theft, along with two other vehicle break-ins - one in Berryville and the other in Green Forest.
Bartos said he worked with Sgt. Brad Handley on the Green Forest case. He said they recovered some of the stolen items, including a wallet and credit cards, but the cash had been spent.
Fiveash was arrested at his home Thursday without incident. He was charged with three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of felonytheft of property, one count of commercial burglary, and two counts of misdemeanor theft of property.

Bartos said the 17-year-old turned himself in after learning the others had been arrested. He was charged with three counts of commercial burglary, one count of breaking and entering, and four counts oftheft of property.
Bartos said the investigation is continuing, although he believes that all the suspects have been identified and apprehended in these cases.
