Group charged over college computer theft

Seven people, including six teenagers, have been charged over the theft of up to 20 computers from Canning Vale College, south-east of Perth.

It is alleged the group broke into the college twice on Friday night and stole several laptops and desktop computers.

Police raided a number of Canning Vale homes at the weekend and found nine allegedly stolen laptops and seven desktop computers valued at $35,000.

The teenagers and a 20-year-old man have been charged with aggravated burglary offences.
