(CBS) LAKE FOREST, Calif. Burglars bored through a wall at a computer store in Lake Forest and stole 236 laptops, 50 iPods and other equipment valued at $400,000, a sheriff's spokesman said Wednesday.
An alarm at CompuDirect 3000 went off at 4:28 a.m., and deputies sent to the business at 21000 Bake Parkway found the business burglarized, Jim Amormino of the sheriff's department said.
The burglars broke into a common electrical room at the strip mall, then bored through a wall to get into the store, he said."
