After fire last week, thieves hit PSL business

Last week, a fire ravaged Louie's Air Conditioning Service on Heritage Drive, and on Saturday someone apparently stole computers and other equipment from the owners' home on Southwest Hibiscus Street, Louie's co-owner Judy Windt said this week.

Windt said she hoped to open a temporary office in her garage with at least some the equipment, which she said was under a tarp in front of their garage.

"If they need it so badly, that's fine, just bring me back the CPUs so I can see if I can salvage my bookkeeping for this past year," Windt said. "That's my main concern. My life is on that."

The items were stowed in front of the garage about 6:30 p.m. Friday, and they were apparently stolen sometime Saturday between 5 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
