And earlier this week, a shop in Milton Road East was twice targeted, with a small amount of cash and a computer stolen.

A small amount of cash was stolen after thieves broke into a shop in Milton Road East between 3pm and 4pm on Christmas Day.

The same store was also broken into overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday. Police on patrol in the area discovered the second break-in at around 1.35am on Wednesday, and found a computer had been stolen.
