City facility burglarized: A maintenance worker discovered a smashed window at the Hollywood Parks and Recreational facility at 1405 S. 28th Ave. about 6:10 a.m. Dec. 11. After entering the building, a burglar had stolen two IBM computers from the front desk.
Laptop, jewelry missing: Someone climbed through a window into a home in the 2200 block of Wilson Street between 3:20 and 4:24 p.m. Dec. 12. The burglar stole a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $2,000 and jewelry valued at $900."
