M.C. man gets 10 years on two convictions
MASON CITY — A 21-year-old Mason City man was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison after being convicted of second-degree theft and third-degree burglary.
Shawn Michael Navin was sentenced to serve two five-years sentences consecutively.
On the theft charge, Navin was arrested after attempting to pawn a stolen computer. He was charged with burglary after breaking into a Mason City home and stealing and attempting to use a credit card to obtain cash at an ATM.
In addition to the prison time, Navin received $1,500 fine suspended fines
