Home burglarized: Someone pried open a carport door and entered a home in the 1000 block of Southwest 47th Avenue between 7:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8. The owner told police that the burglar stole a Dell desktop computer, a 20-inch flat screen TV, two sets of diamond earrings, a tennis bracelet and four credit cards valued at a total of $7,200.
