Burglars broke into the offices of Tel Aviv Municipality Comptroller Haya Horowitz, and stole the hard disks of two computers in her office. The break-in, which occurred over the weekend, is being investigated by the police; they are checking to see whether the thieves copied material from the office computers. The burglars also broke into two office safes that contained classified documents, but it is still unclear whether anything was taken. NIS 600 was taken from the two safes, money used as 'petty cash' by the office. The offices of the city's comptroller are situated on the fifth floor of a building on Ibn Gvirol, near the municipality building.
