COMPUTER, BRIEFCASE STOLEN FROM OFFICE
A San Jose, Calif., man reported the theft of a briefcase containing a laptop computer, an iPod mp3 unit, a watch and other items from an office on the 1400 block of Glenarm Place on Dec. 4. A report said the briefcase was left between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. when someone stole it. The briefcase and items inside were valued at a total of $7,700.
COMPUTERS TAKEN FROM STUDENT NEWSPAPER OFFICE
Police investigated a burglary at the newspaper office of the University of Colorado - Denver, 900 Auraria Parkway reported on Dec. 3. An investigation showed someone entered the offices of the student newspaper between Nov. 21 and Nov. 26 and stole two iMac computers valued at a total of $2,825. There were no signs of forced entry, according to the report."
