Computer stolen from American Heart Association
The burglar who took a laptop computer from American Heart Association offices at 1111 Ninth St., in Des Moines, sometime over the holidays apparently wore gloves.The laptop, valued at $2,000, was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon. Police said gloves were left behind where the computer had been.
Police list no suspects on a report of the burglary. They said the theft could have occurred any time between Dec. 24 and Jan. 2.
A front door may have been left unlocked, police said.
