MICHIGAN COMPUTER STOLEN Monroenews.com - Informing Monroe County, Michigan, for more than 180 years


More than $6,300 in tools, windows,
computer equipment and other gear was stolen last week at Hometown USA in Frenchtown Township.

Sheriff's deputies reported that the break-in of the business at 1675 Nadeau Rd. occurred sometime between Thursday and Saturday afternoon. Among the items taken were a Honda generator valued at $1,000, a Stanley laser leveler worth $750, six windows valued at $600, a copier machine worth $600 and carpeting tools valued at $450.

A
laptop computer valued at $500, mini torches worth $400, two torpedo heaters and a toilet also were taken. The investigation into the theft is continuing.
