Staff and students at the First Hill All Age School in Jackson Town, Trelawny are reeling from a break-in in which thieves made off with brand new computers and other equipment.

The staff arrived at the school Tuesday morning to find their canteen and computer room had been vandalised.

This is the fourth time since the start of the year.

On previous occasions, a bed and a public announcement system were stolen.

Vice Principal of the School Arlene Nugent-Needham said the students did not even get the opportunity to use the computers.

'They were still in the box and the principal had planned to get them connected this week, so we did not get to use them and the new printer, we did not have a printer because they stole the first one so ... we now have tests in progress and we now have nothing to copy these tests on,' she said.

It is believed that the thieves entered through a fence at the back of the compound.
