COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - We want to correct a report we ran July 3 regarding computers stolen from Zion Benevolent Baptist Church in Hopkins on May 28.

WIS reported that some members of the church said that the robbery may have been an inside job.

A member of the church told us that the robbery occurred the day before the deadline for Pastor Gerald Tucker to respond to a lawsuit concerning the church's finances.

We have since learned that the lawsuit was filed against Pastor Tucker February 26 -- several months ago.

The pastor answered the suit on March 20, and has provided the plaintiffs over 300 pages of financial and other requested information.

We regret the error and will continue to follow this story as the investigation into the robbery continues.
