• Burglars smashed a front window at Kingshan Import Co., 1175 McCabe Ave., between 6 p.m. Dec. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 3 and stole $13,850 worth of computers, telephones, microwave ovens, refrigerator, valves, copper screws and tools.

Hoffman Estates

• A $1,500 laptop computer was stolen out of an office at Sears Holding, 3333 Beverly Road, between 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 7 a.m. Dec. 8.
