Trailer with computers stolen from Guilford business

A trailer loaded with Dell computers was stolen from a business in Guilford County on Saturday.

The trailer, which contained 27 skids of Dell computers, was behind Forward Air Freight at 7609 Bentley Road. The theft occurred about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Guilford County Sheriff's Office.

The stolen trailer is a 1999 Great Dane Freight, with Forward Air in red and black letters on the side. It is valued at $16,000.

The thief used a dark, newer-model pickup to drive to and from the scene, but used a truck tractor to remove the trailer from the property. Once the trailer was removed, the truck tractor was returned to the business.
