WATERFORD - State Police arrested a Waterford man for allegedly breaking into a construction trailer on Tuesday at Lock 6 on the Erie Canal and stealing office equipment.
Ryan P. Bussey, 30, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony, for allegedly burglarizing an office trailer rented by Kubricky Construction.
Two computers, electronic equipment and an employee's personal credit card were stolen from the office trailer, State Police said.
Police later located the stolen computers in a wooded area nearby. Police said the investigation revealed that Bussey used the stolen credit card at several area businesses later that day.
He was arraigned in Town of Waterford Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail on $10,000 bail. Police said additional charges are pending.
