TEXAS CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE'S COMPUTER STOLEN Dirty politics or coincidence? Council candidate’s computer stolen | SA West Neighborhoods | KENS5.com: A city council candidate is scrambling to keep his campaign going after theives ripped off his files and computer. Dirty politics or coincidence? He says it looks fishy but he's not pointing fingers. "This area had campaign materials and all my signs were gone and flyers were gone," said William Davidson. He is running for San Antonio City Council District 9. "And this book has all my campaign supporters and their phone numbers," he said. The burglars didn't go for money or jewels, just the campaign stuff. "I don't know," Davidson said when asked if this was sabotage. "That's not for me to determine, that's for the police to determine." "Last night one of my supporters had her computer hacked into and all campaign info taken out," he said. "To me its a coincidence," he added. Other candidates running include Elisa Chan and Weston Martinez. Davidson does not suspect they are involved. Councilman Louis Rowe is not seeking re-election.
