Weare Police Investigate Computer Theft

WEARE, N.H. -- The Weare Police Department is investigating the theft of $10,000 worth of Macintosh computers. Police said the computers were stolen from the tech ed wing at John Stark Regional High School.

An investigation, conducted by school resource officer William Duffy, revealed that the thief or thieves were familiar with the layout of the school. The investigation also revealed that the theft occurred sometime during last week's spring break.

A total of six computers, with 20-inch monitors, were stolen.
