Reward offered: Computers stolen from News Tribune
Wed Jun 10, 2009, 10:23 AM EDTKEYSER — The Mineral Daily News Tribune is offering a $250 reward for information leading to the return of two computers stolen from the newspaper office sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
Keyser City Police are investigating the theft of the two “Mac” computers, which were used in the newspaper's graphic design department. The desktop machines are gray in color with the Apple logo on the front, and screens that measure approximately 18 by 14 inches.
Police launched an on-scene investigation of the crime after being advised of the theft at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, when an employee noticed the computers missing from the graphics department.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact Keyser City Police at 304-788-1311.
The $250 reward will be provided, no questions asked, upon either the return of the computers, or receipt of information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the thieves.
