A Lincoln man is arrested after police find 2 stolen computers and a stolen handgun in his home.

Officer Katie Flood said Clifford Brye III was arrested Thursday for possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen firearm and for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Flood said 5 laptop computers, 2 projectors and a DVD player were stolen from Lincoln Southwest High School March 16. Officers received a tip that Brye had some of those computers.

Officers served a search warrant at his home at 1717 SW 10th and found 2 computers with LSW inscribed on them and the serial number scratched off. Police also found a 9mm handgun that was stolen in a residential burglary earlier this year.

Police believe Brye bought the stolen goods. He is a convicted felon from a drug and weapons arrest in Arizona in 2004.

Brye's girlfriend, Jamie Young was at the apartment at the time of the search and was cited and released for possession of stolen property.
