DELAWARE COMPUTERS STOLEN 911 REPORT | delmarvanow.com | The Daily Times:
Surveillance video shows theft suspects
OCEAN CITY -- Resort police are asking for the public's help in finding two people suspected of stealing computers and credit cards from a downtown residence.
Police say residents of an apartment in the 100 block of Talbot Street reported a burglary on July 12. Stolen were two laptop computers, at least 7 credit cards and other personal items, police said. Later that day, police learned that the stolen credit cards had been used at two different Boardwalk shops after they were stolen, and surveillance footage at those stores captured the people who used the stolen cards.
As a result, police are looking for a thin white man, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with sandy blond and brown hair wearing a dark blue and yellow striped polo shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and a large backpack. The second suspect, police say, is a black man, tall and muscular with medium-length dreadlocks, tattoos on his left arm, and wearing a form-fitting shirt, large black shorts and gray shoes.
Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Ofc. Joseph Zurla at 410-520-5384 or e-mail jzurla@ococean.com. Information can be given anonymously.
