Computers stolen in three raids

THREE computer thefts have happened in Chelmsford – two of which might be linked.
Between 6pm on July 3 and 9.30am on July 4, thieves forced a door to gain entry to Broomfield Business Centre, in Broomfield Road, causing £100 damage, and stole two Apple computers with an estimated total value of £2,000.
Also, around the same time, burglars forced a door to gain entry to premises in Broomfield Road, causing £100 damage, and stole five laptop computers, telephone equipment and fans, with an estimated value of around £2,600.
The investigating officer is PC Ewan Smith for both thefts. These are believed to be linked.
Overnight on July 13 entry was forced to an office at Anglia Ruskin University, Bishop Hall Lane, and one laptop computer stolen.
