J. Durham and Associates burglarized
ALBANY - Company computers, monitors and computer components were reported stolen Saturday from J. Durham and Associates office at the Executive Center on Dawson Road said Albany Police Department spokesperson Phyllis Banks.
She said that thieves appeared to have gained entry into the building through a window.
"We got a call Saturday in reference to a burglary at a business," said Banks. "Investigators determined that the suspects were able to break through a window and steal computers and components."
According to Joe Durham Jr., a partner with Langley and Lee law firm, the thieves used a cinder block to smash one of the windows of the building.
"We are still not sure when exactly the incident happened," he said. "It was either Saturday or Friday night."
Durham said that officials with the business are pleased with the determination and effort that police have shown throughout the investigation.
While Durham declined to give specific details of the ongoing investigation, he did say that more information will be released this week.
"There will be an announcement in the next couple of days," he said.
