Laptop, monitor stolen during housebreak

LAWRENCE — A laptop computer and a 22-inch monitor that was brand new and still in the box were stolen from a Haverhill Street home, police said.

Dale Lumbra and Patrick Cote told Officer Jaime Adames they were not sure how the thieves entered the house.

Cote told Adames he had come home from work Wednesday at noon and everything was fine but when he returned from work later in the day, the Toshiba laptop and monitor were missing.

Cote told police they had just received the monitor on Tuesday.
