Teens Arrested for Elliott Elementary Burglary

Police have arrested three teens for the July 21 burglary at Elliott Elementary.

Officer Katie Flood said two 13 year olds and a 14 year old broke into a portable classroom used by the YMCA summer program July 21. Flood said the room was destroyed, several items were smashed and the toilets were broken, flooding the unit.

Several electronics,computers and games were also stolen.

Flood said a Crimestoppers tip led to the teens who all live near the school. Flood said officers found 3 baseball bats and one of the stolen computers with one of the boys.

All three have been referred to the county attorney.
