NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - North Providence police said they busted a pair of local teens with $3,300 worth of stolen goods in their possession. Now, investigators are trying to track down the theft victims in order to return the stolen property.
Marc Ferrucci, 19, of East Providence and Nicolas Pacheco, 19, of North Providence were arrested early Tuesday morning behind the CVS Pharmacy on Mineral Spring Avenue. In their car, officers said they found more than a dozen stolen items including cell phones, car stereos, GPS units, and a desktop computer.
The teens are accused of breaking into cars in several communities across Rhode Island. Pacheco is also accused of using a stolen credit card at a store in Massachusetts. Pacheco was released on $10,000 bail, while Ferrucci is still being held at the ACI.
Victims of recent thefts are asked to contact the North Providence Police Department to re-claim their items. Please be prepared to provide serial numbers or other proof that the items belong to you.
