A break-in at the Bexar County United Democrats headquarters Sunday had organizers scrambling to replace stolen computers and other electronics, a spokesman said.
Christian Archer, who helps run the organization, said workers arrived around 7 a.m. at the headquarters located in the 1100 block of Broadway and discovered thieves had broken through a glass door and stole 11 laptops, a desktop computer, two flat-screen televisions and phone chargers.
Archer said no sensitive voter information is kept on the computers and the organization spent Sunday morning buying replacements.
He said workers left the headquarters around midnight so the break-in had to have occurred early Sunday morning.
Archer said he didn't believe the theft had anything to do with politics.
