Cash, drugs and safe found
The AusCare pharmacy in Point Vernon.
CASH, prescription drugs, a computer and safe stolen from various Hervey Bay businesses were found in a Point Vernon home yesterday.
In the early hours of the morning police searched the home and found the property which had been reported missing.
A number of people were arrested and taken to the station.
Two of those, a 27-year-old man and 23-year-old woman, have been charged with three break and enter offences.
This morning police will be objecting to bail when the man faces court.
The woman will front court on January 27.
One of charges stems from an alleged break-in at Pastry Paradise in Main Street where a window was smashed and a computer stolen.
The other charges involve an alleged break-in at the AusCare Pharmacy in Point Vernon on Wednesday night.
Some time between close of business Wednesday and opening time yesterday morning a window was broken and the safe, cash and prescription drugs were taken.
The pharmacy owners did not wish to comment.
