Computers were stolen from adjoining businesses on the south end of Santa Fe Avenue between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, police said.
Two Hewlett Packard computers belonging to Shirts by Francis, 1214 S. Santa Fe, were stolen between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7:55 a.m. Thursday, according to a Salina Police Department report. Loss was estimated at $2,500.
An Apple computer system and scanner belonging to Chapman’s Designs, 1212 S. Santa Fe, No. B, was stolen during the same time period for an estimated loss of $4,100, the report said.
Damage to a deadbolt was estimated at $50, and $60 cash was taken, the report said.
