Police investigate theft of 48 laptops

The Apple laptops, valued at nearly $47,000, were stolen from a shipment from China to the Ingram Micro distribution center in Union Township sometime between Sept. 4 and Oct. 8, according to police.
Police said it is unknown where the laptops were stolen, but they were part of a larger shipment of Apple computers.
Authorities were notified of the theft on Dec. 14 by a representative of an international logistics company.
