According to Rome police reports:
Dale Bridges at the South Broad Baptist Church, 508 South Broad Street, reported that someone broke into the church through a window in the nursery between January 9 and January 11.
A couple of computers and monitors were stolen along with a motion detector in the nursery. The missing items were valued at $9,000. Noah Coker of 25 E. Main Street called authorities after someone broke into his home Wednesday and took an Apple laptop computer and network router, collectively valued at $2,380. Coker said the intruder gained access to the home by entering a window on a rear porch.
