Police investigate storage unit burglary

Fremont Police are investigating a Monday afternoon report of a burglary to a storage unit.
Deputy Chief Jeff Elliott said tools, a toolbox and wheels were stolen from the storage unit in the 200 block of East 30th Street. Elliott said there was forced entry to the storage unit.
Police also received a report Monday afternoon of an Apple MacBook laptop computer stolen from a building at Midland University. The loss was $1,500.
Also on Monday, officers received a report of a stolen bag at Fremont Middle School. Elliott said the bag contained cash, a gift card, clothes and phone charger, and the loss was $115.
