UNCG student charged with campus thefts

GREENSBORO – UNCG police arrested a student in connection with a string of thefts from the Student Recreation Center, according to a news release.
Joshua Scott Felton, 24, of 2975 Kecoughtan Road in Pfafftown was charged with eight counts of misdemeanor larceny, one count of felony larceny and five counts of financial card theft. He was released from the Guilford County jail Thursday.
The investigation began Jan. 26 after thefts were reported from the university 's recreation center. About $3,000 in stolen property was recovered from Felton’s car, including two laptop computers, a cell phone, a wallet, clothing and books, according to police.
