Brothers arrested for computer theft SATURDAY, 05 FEBRUARY 2011 00:00 By R.S.Kiriyawatta- Peradeniya Two students of a leading school in Peradeniya  were taken into custody by police yesterday for the alleged theft of computers and computer accessories from the Peradeniya University and several other places including their school. They were produced before Kandy Additional Magistrate Thanuja Jayathunga and detained at the Berawala Children’s Home till February 10. 2011. The two suspects between 13 -15 years of age were brothers. Police said the suspects had dismantled the stolen computers to prevent identification. A police team under SI Edirisinghe is conducting further inquiries on the instructions of  OIC Peradeniya Police Jaliya Heenkenda.
