2500 block of Scripture Street — A woman reported to Denton police Friday that her laptop computer was missing from her office at work. The woman claimed she last saw the computer the afternoon of Feb. 8. She returned to her office Friday morning to find the computer missing but all the wires left behind. Another employee in the office, she told officers, said that they had not noticed that the laptop had gone missing. According to a police report, the woman offered a serial number for the missing device to officers. Police have no physical evidence on the stolen computer, the report said.
