Men arrested

on theft charges

Police arrested two unrelated men who allegedly stole computer equipment from three Shepparton schools on Friday night.

Shepparton police arrested the men, aged 18 and 20, at Wanganui Park Secondary College on Parkside Dve about 10.30 pm.

Senior Constable Damien Duggan said school security informed police the two men had triggered an alarm.

The men were arrested and police say they found the stolen equipment, worth about $4000, inside a station wagon parked at the school, which one of the men owns.
