CHILDREN at a Worle school face a further set-back after six more computers were stolen, just a month after 28 were taken in a previous theft.
The six Apple Mac iMacs, worth £5,400 in total, were targeted in a raid on Worle Community School at about 9pm on February 28.
It follows the theft of 28 of the computers, many of them under a year old, over the weekend of January 28-29.
Headteacher Peter Binding said staff and students were ‘devastated’ over the first theft, but refused to comment this week about the most recent burglary.
* Three men from Bristol appeared at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges on March 2 charged with burglary.
Matthew Parson, 21, of Tavistock Road, Jake Britt, 19, of Kinsale Walk and Michael Bush, 22, of Salcombe Road all pleaded not guilty.
They will reappear at the court for trial next month.
