Police: Tax computers, prom jewelry stolen in Ravena

RAVENA -- Coeymans Police are looking for who stole two computer towers from a tax service businesses in Ravena over Memorial Day weekend.
Investigators say the burglary happened at the offices of Curley Income Tax Service located in the Faith Plaza.
Only the towers were taken, not the monitors or keyboards.
As a result of the theft, anyone who was or is a client of the business is urged to check their credit status on a regular basis.
According to officials, information stored on the computers is not completely secure from being accessed and someone maybe be able to retrieve it.
Investigators also believe the same burglars are responsible for stealing jewelry from the storage area of the charity group "Cinderella Project" within the same time period.
The project is run by high school students who provide prom dresses and accessories to young women who aren't able to afford the expense.
