Driggs School staff reports theft of laptop computer
WATERBURY – A laptop computer was stolen from Driggs Elementary School last week.
Driggs staff reported a window screen pried away from a basement kindergarten classroom on the morning of Oct. 12. The school alarm had not sounded. School officials think the burglar did not come close enough to a sensor to trip the alarm.
Security upgrade have subsequently been made, including repairs to the locking ability of the Driggs School basement windows.
