School officials at San Rafael Elementary School discovered Wednesday that seven computers, several walkie-talkies and other classroom items had been stolen.
Burglars entered the campus by cutting the chain link fence along Hermosa Road between 6:15 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday and then forced their way into five rooms, according to Pasadena police.
Four classrooms and the library, where the computers were stored, were burglarized, said Lt. Phlunte Riddle. All were ransacked. The suspects also unsuccessfully attempted to enter a storage room, Riddle said.
Authorities believe they lifted fingerprints and DNA evidence the suspects left behind.
