Computers and equipment worth £40,000 stolen in school raid
COMPUTERS and cameras worth £40,000 have been stolen from a school in Churchill.
Thieves broke into Churchill Academy between February 22 and 25 and stole 40 Apple Mac desktop computers and a number of cameras.

The school is having work done to repair its roof and the thieves climbed up the scaffolding and onto the roof and got in via a skylight.
All of the computers have been engraved with the words Churchill Academy and its postcode and have also been treated with Smartwater.

Police believe the computers may now be offered for sale in the local area.
Police are appealing to anyone who is offered one of the computers or may have information about the break in to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 55511.
