Thief Takes Frozen Beef, Coffee, Before Making Off With Computer
Downtown law office was reportedly burglarized sometime Monday night into Tuesday
Toms River police officers are investigating multiple thefts in town, including one where a can of coffee and packages of frozen beef—along with a computer—were taken from a downtown law office.
The Law Office of Karl Mohel on Water Street was forcibly entered sometime Monday night into Tuesday and a can of coffee, packages of frozen beef from the refrigerator and Toshiba computer were taken, according to Chief of Police Michael Mastronardy.
During that same timeframe, someone forcibly entered the Madison Avenue office of Cordisco and Ritacco through a window and took a Macbook Pro laptop computer, Mastronardy said.
Officer Chris Leighton and Officer Steven Bucci are investigating the thefts and no suspects were identified by Mastronardy.
