More than £25,000 of computer equipment stolen from businesses in Newmarket

Thieves have stolen more than £25,000 worth of computer equipment from three businesses in the same evening.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incidents which took place between 4.45pm on Friday, January 10 and 10am, January 11 within a business park in Willie Snaith Road, Newmarket.

The offenders gained entry to the building, within which all the businesses were located, and were then able to break into the offices internally.

The first business had approximately £20,000 worth of computer equipment stolen including 11 Apple iMac computers, 6 Apple G5 PowerMacs and a server with a valuable amount of work saved on it.

In the region of £5,000 worth of items were stolen from the second business, including an Apple iMac and an Apple G5 PowerMac.

A search was conducted of the third office, but no items were stolen.
