Thousands of dollars worth of computer equipment was stolen from businesses in the University area Saturday night.
Six computer monitors valued at $2400 were stolen from an architectural firm, $12,000 worth of computers were stolen from Wilmington Finance, $10,000 worth of computers from Wells Fargo bank and $62,500 worth of computer equipment was stolen from Warehouser.
The burglaries happened sometime Saturday night. An employee at the architectural firm along David Taylor Drive said the thieves used their desk chairs to roll the monitors down the hall from the fourth floor.
No arrests have been made."
