COMPUTERS stolen from two North Wales schools over the Christmas holidays were found at the home of a 19-year-old Carl McGrath, of Plas Newydd, Deganwy.

He was sentenced to 12 weeks in a young offenders' institution and with a 16-week suspended sentence last July must spend 28 weeks behind bars.

He admitted handling property stolen from Ysgol Maelgwn primary school and Ysgol Aberconwy.

Robert Vickery, defending, told Llandudno magistrates McGrath wanted a home computer and bought the equipment for £150.
