The Monterey Police Department is investigating a burglary to a classroom at the Colton Middle School at 100 Toda Vista Drive.

The burglary occurred sometime between 2 p.m. June 5 and 11 a.m. June 7.

The suspect(s) broke a window to gain access to a classroom and took 19 computers, all HP COMPAQ laptops, model NX6125, valued at approximately $1400 each, for a total loss of over $26,000.
