“Smash And Grab” Burglars Hit Two MoCity Businesses
September 21st, 2009 | by Jamie Mock | Published in Crime Reports
Missouri City police are investigating the theft of four laptop computers from two Missouri Cit businesses. In both cases, police say the thieves were in and out in a matter of minutes.
Around 6 a.m. Sept. 19, police responded to a burglary alarm at Murray Insurance at 3550 Murphy Rd. When police arrived, they found glass in the front door shattered and two laptop computers missing from desks in the office.
Around 6 p.m. Sept. 20, police believe the same suspects burglarized Alpha Realty and Mortgage at 4501 Cartwright Rd. In this case a tool, possibly a crowbar, was used to pry open the front door and two more laptop computers were stolen.
