Police are investigating a burglary and theft of electronic equipment at Forrest City High School.
According to the report on file at the Forrest City Police Department, officers received a call about 2:10 a.m. on Saturday from Steve Murray reporting the burglary at the high school. Murray, a Mustang 17 instructor, told police he had returned from a game and found his room vandalized. Four computers were stolen, including two, 27-inch and two, 20-inch I-Macs. Also stolen was a 32-inch Sanyo TV.
A power cord, a computer mouse, and a keyboard were found in a trash can on the northeast side of the building. Police reported one of the surveillance cameras may have captured the incident.
It was reported the next day that a former student at FCHS told police there were four subjects involved and he may be able to identify one of them.
The investigation is continuing.
