Man held on home burglary charge
KIHEI - Bail was set at $10,000 for a 41-year-old Makawao man charged with burglarizing a Kihei residence and stealing computer equipment, police said.
Christopher Tronolone was charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree theft following his arrest Sunday morning.
Kihei patrol officers located Tronolone at about 9 a.m. after developing information that he was responsible for the theft Saturday from a friend's residence on Omaka Place, said Lt. Tim Gapero of the Criminal Investigation Division.
He said police recovered the stolen computer equipment, valued at $8,000, which was returned to its owner.
Tronolone also was arrested for investigation of possessing suspected marijuana and prescription pills that were found when he was arrested.
